PEC
Certified electronic mail(PEC) is a special type of electronic mail that allows an electronic mail message to be given the same legal value as a traditional registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, thus guaranteeing proof of sending and delivery.
In order to use the service, you must have a special PEC box with one of the authorised operators. Novoferm only accepts e-mails in its PEC if they are sent from another PEC box.

WHISTLEBLOWING
The term whistleblower refers to an individual who makes a spontaneous disclosure of an offence or irregularity committed within the entity, which he or she has witnessed in the performance of his or her duties. The whistleblower is often an employee but can also be a third party, for example a supplier or customer.
The discipline of whistleblowing was introduced in Italy by Law 179/2017 and implemented by Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023, implementing the European Directive 2019/1937. Whistleblowing is the procedure aimed at encouraging whistleblowing and protecting, precisely because of its social function, the whistleblower, providing for the protection of persons who report violations of national or EU regulatory provisions that harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or private entity, of which they have become aware in a work context.
Novoferm Schievano srl makes the "Whistleblowing Portal" dedicated to making whistleblowing reports, which, using exclusively computerised methods, guarantees the complete confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower.
There is no exhaustive list of potential offences that can be reported; in general, these are facts and/or conduct that have the potential to undermine the company's integrity and ethics, and which are of general and not individual interest. They may be anomalies, potential irregularities or potential offences committed both in the interest of and to the detriment of the Company.
These unlawful behaviours may include:
- Financial fraud
- Discrimination or harassment in the workplace
- Abuse of power or unethical behaviour by superiors or colleagues
- Violations of workplace safety regulations
- Risk to public health or the environment due to unsafe business practices or non-compliance with environmental laws
- Any other illegal or unethical activity that may harm the organisation, its employees or the general public
Personal matters relating to one's relations with one's line manager or one's colleagues or relating to the discipline of the employment relationship must not be reported through this channel. Any form of abuse, such as manifestly opportunistic reports and/or reports made with the sole aim of harming the whistleblower or other persons, and any other hypothesis of improper use or intentional exploitation of the institution covered by this procedure, shall also give rise to liability in disciplinary and other competent fora.
