Novoferm Doors Tool gets a makeover: an even more modern and immediate app to always have all the technical data of Novoferm swing closures at your fingertips.
With aclearer interface and even quicker consultation, it allows you to find the most suitable solution for your project needs in just a few seconds: passage clearance, overall dimensions, transmittance, dimensional limits, performance and much more essential information, organised in an intuitive way.
Designed for those who work between studio and construction site, it is a concrete support for the fire protection designer and site manager: less time wasted searching for data, more certainty in making choices and immediate verifications even during the operational phase.
Novoferm Doors Tool also offers a section dedicated to CE-marked doors, with details of performance and the requirements of the applicable European regulations, for a complete and reliable technical reference.
It all started in a workshop in the Lower Rhineland and, over time, has developed into an industry benchmark. Today, the Novoferm Group, with over 3,500 employees and an annual turnover of more than 700 million euros, is one of Europe's leading suppliers of door systems, door solutions and docking systems. In March 2025, the company celebrated an important milestone in its history.
Founded on 10 March 1955 under the name Isselwerk Werth GmbH, Novoferm has consolidated its growth through technological development and strategic acquisitions. Significant milestones include the entry of Schievano srl (1996), Alpha Deuren (Netherlands, 2014), Norsud (France, 2016), Robust AB (Sweden, 2019) and Manugestion (France, 2021).
Novoferm has expanded its offering with innovative solutions, including DC operators for industrial doors, steel doors and sectional overhead doors for private garages, featuring superior thermal insulation. At the same time, the company is investing in digital tools for industry professionals, with the aim of making workflows more efficient and improving safety and operational processes.
In 2025, on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, Novoferm is also launching a new leadership phase: Christian Hasenest is taking over from Rainer Schackmann as CEO. Hasenest emphasised his willingness to build on his achievements, while setting new priorities to meet future challenges together with the team.
In our company, a 1 MWp photovoltaic plant installed on the roof of our industrial building is fully operational: a concrete step towards sustainability and reduced environmental impact.
The plant is able to produce an amount of electricity annually that is substantially equivalent to our total needs, making a tangible contribution to reducing emissions and improving energy efficiency.
Thanks to this renewable energy production, we estimate an annual saving of approximately 250 tonnes of CO₂(*), avoiding the emission of greenhouse gases normally associated with electricity supply from fossil fuels.
(*) The estimated CO₂ savings are calculated on the basis of data from the Italian national energy mix 2023: for every kilowatt-hour (kWh) of electricity consumed, an average of 0.256 kg of carbon dioxide emissions were recorded.
1. Sustainability reporting obligation
The EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) obliges companies to report on their environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities.
CSRD reporting will form an integral part of the annual report and will be audited by statutory auditors at year-end.
Novoferm reaches a new milestone: CAM product environmental certification.
The CAM report certifies the conformity of Novoferm products to the Minimum Environmental Criteria for construction and applicable to the relevant product categories.
The Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) define the environmental requirements to be met in the various phases of the public purchasing process, with the aim of identifying design solutions, products and services with the best environmental performance throughout the entire life cycle, consistent with market availability.
The report was developed with the support of QualityNet, a consultancy company specialising in sustainability certification and compliance.
CAM compliance declarations are available for the following Novoferm products: Elite Premio Metal, Elite Premio EI60, Elite Premio EI120, Elite Premio Modula, Elite Novoglass, Elite Alettata, Kora Basic, Kora Fill, Kora Glass, Asia, Novoslide and NSI, GD and GD2.
Novoferm Schievano srl officially enters the GREENiTOP® "green community", a restricted network of virtuous companies committed to enhancing and improving the environmental performance of their products, with particular reference to LEED® certified Sustainable Buildings and other sustainability protocols.
LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a voluntary building certification system, adopted in over 140 countries worldwide, that promotes the design and construction of more efficient and sustainable buildings.
The LEED® system aims to promote and develop a global approach to sustainability, recognising virtuous performance in key areas related to human health and environmental protection.
The LEED® standards, drawn up by the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), define the requirements for designing and constructing buildings that are environmentally sustainable, both in terms of energy efficiency and with respect to the consumption and management of resources used throughout the construction process.
