STANDARD EQUIPMENT

This diagram illustrates in detail the technical solutions and standard equipment provided for our Thermo sectional overhead doors, highlighting their constructional and functional features.

In particular, the diagram shows

  1. the connections of the sections, describing the panel joining system and their sealing and resistance performance;

     

  2. the wind reinforcement profile, designed to guarantee structural stability even in the presence of high stresses;

     

  3. the corner frame, available in standard or reinforced version, which ensures proper sealing between the door and the sliding guides;

     

  4. the floor seal, designed to ensure an effective bottom seal of the door.

The combination of these solutions results in a high-performance door, designed to offer strength, reliability and protection even in the most demanding conditions of use.

Below the individual specifications are described in detail, point by point, indicating the sectional door model (40, 60 and 80 mm) to which each technical solution refers.

SECTION CONNECTIONS
The sections of Thermo 40 / 60 / 80 doors are sealed with Kompriband, ensuring wind and water tightness. The separation between the inner and outer leaf ensures high thermal insulation.

 

REINFORCED ANGULAR FRAME
This frame is used for large, dark-painted doors where exposure to sunlight can cause the door leaf to expand. It also prevents deformation and interference with the lintel.

WIND REINFORCEMENT
To increase wind resistance and meet all regulations and standards for high wind loads, the doors are equipped with reinforcement profiles according to their width.

 

FLOOR SEAL
The floor seal is provided by a rubber profile with a lip curved inwards, fixed with a plastic support and perfectly matched to the frame seal.

STANDARD ANGULAR FRAME
The connection between the door and the guide rails by means of a standard frame guarantees a stable seal between the door side and the building, ensuring a perfect lateral seal.

 

FLOOR SEAL
The floor seal is optimised by means of a double rubber profile with an inward-curved lip, fixed on a plastic support with low thermal conductivity and coupled to the frame seal.

Dark colours should be avoided for double-walled steel doors exposed to the sun, as any deflection of the slats can damage the door.

STANDARD WINDOWS

 

Thermo sectional overhead doors can be equipped with Plexiglas glazing to ensure optimal natural lighting and good room visibility. Standard windows are available in elongated shapes, with right or rounded corners, and can be made of single- or multi-layer insulating glass.

For added security, there is also short rectangular glass with rounded corners, designed to offer additional burglary protection. To complete the offer, you can choose alternative design solutions, such as round windows or customised glazing configurations, to achieve an original and distinctive aesthetic result.
