Starting with the finish. Hot-dip galvanised sheet metal and a base coat of electrostatic polyester stove enamel provide the door with double protection against corrosion. The door leaf frame, block frame, guides, lever arms and all other components are also galvanised. Continuously welded, torsion-resistant frame corners and hollow frame profiles with cross-pillars guarantee maximum stability. And because we are convinced of the durability of this design, we offer a 10-year guarantee.
We don't skimp on safety either.

Protection of people thanks to the automatic shutdown and self-monitoring force limitation, protection against break-ins thanks to the centralised 3-point locking based on the security principle for overhead doors with system or operator self-locking. The Novoferm operator-operated overhead door is equipped with a self-controlled automatic shutdown system. As soon as the door encounters an obstacle while closing, regardless of whether it is an object or a person, it stops and opens immediately at the slightest resistance.
Protects your property: exemplary resistance to break-ins
The Novoferm overhead door with operator and triple locking (incl. BDIP rail) protects your property according to the security principle. Locking on both sides by means of solid bolts in the frame, additional locking by means of self-locking operator on the upper edge of the door leaf.
Convenient opening and closing
Specially designed lever arm bearings make it easy to open and close the door, comfortably by hand or even more conveniently with an electric operator.
4. maximum functional reliability
The powerful triple-tension spring assemblies ensure 'light as a feather' ease of use with maximum security: even if a spring were to break, it could not jump out because it is firmly screwed at the top and bottom. In addition, the remaining springs hold the door firmly in place.
5. additional property protection
The floor-independent horizontal locking mechanism with solid bolts in the side frames is tamper-proof because it cannot be reached from the outside, even with tools.

Important note:
It is essential to treat solid wood doors with a wood stain before installation in order to optimally protect them from the effects of weathering and UV radiation. The illustrations show the door leaf dimensions 2,500 x 2,125 mm.

Proper care
Novoferm solid wood doors are factory-treated with a colourless primer to protect them from wood pests and blue stains. A pigmented top coat, which is indispensable after installation, not only optimally protects the doors from the effects of weathering and UV rays, but also colours them at the same time. Novoferm solid wood doors are only made from carefully selected Nordic spruce from controlled tree populations. Nordic spruce is highly valued as construction and furniture wood due to its inviting light colour and predominantly straight grain. The typical twisted grain makes each door unique.
