SECTIONAL GARAGE DOOR ISO 45
The ISO 45 sectional garage door is Novoferm's residential solution designed for those who want a premium door with increased insulation and extensive customisation options. It is made of 45 mm galvanised steel sections filled with CFC-free rigid polyurethane foam, a double-wall construction that increases stability and contributes to quieter sliding.
ISO 45 is designed for large openings, up to 5,500 mm wide, and is available with vertical tension springs or horizontal torsion springs to suit different installation requirements. The sheets are hot-dip galvanised and treated with a polyester-based primer; hardware and guides are also galvanised to reduce the risk of corrosion over time.
From an aesthetic point of view, ISO 45 offers a high degree of freedom of choice, so that any product can be adapted to its surroundings. It is possible to choose Super Colour or, at extra charge, a RAL colour of your choice. To increase brightness, various windows and glazed sections are available. For those who want pedestrian access without opening the door completely, ISO 45 can integrate a pedestrian door, while maintaining good insulation thanks to the double insulating wall.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
SECURITY
The sectional garage doors ISO 20 and ISO 45 with a width of up to 3,000 mm and a height of 2,500 mm (smooth) are available with a vertical tension spring system.
With ISO 70, this is only possible up to 3,000 mm (width) and 2,375 mm (height). With a rebate width of only 80 mm per side, these doors are also ideal for renovation projects.

1. RETAINING PULLEY
The tension springs are housed and protected inside the rail, so as to avoid possible interference from the sides of the sectional door. The steel cables also run in a deflection pulley shielded by a U-shaped casing, which contributes to greater protection and reliability of the system.
2. STEEL CABLE HOOK
The new steel cable hook comes with a cable holder and increases safety by ensuring a more stable and controlled sliding of the sections within the frame.
3. INTEGRATED TOOTHED BELT ATTACHMENT
The new horizontal rail design incorporates a dedicated attachment for the NovoPort Speed motor belt. In addition, the sealing device facilitates maintenance operations, making them quicker and easier.
4. VERTICAL SPRINGS PACKAGE
Sectional doors with springs can be equipped with a spring package in a vertical configuration, housed inside the rail. This solution increases stability and safety and reduces the space required on the lintel.
5. NOVOPORT SPEED, UNIQUE AND FLEXIBLE
The NovoPort Speed motor is chosen for its user-friendliness and its special type of installation. Unlike conventional drive motors, it is not fixed to the ceiling, but installed laterally, left or right, on the garage wall. Integrated into the side door track, it leaves the ceiling completely free of clutter.
6. INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ANTI-SHOCK HAZARDS
The special construction of the sections and hinges is designed to prevent injuries, avoiding the risk of fingers being crushed during door movement.
7. ANGULAR FRAME AND GUIDE FOR INTERNAL CABLES
The angular frame prevents contact between the door leaf and the frame. In addition, the suspension cables are housed inside, minimising the risk of injury.

THERMAL INSULATION
ISO 45 THERMAL INSULATION
This diagram highlights the construction solutions that improve the tightness, insulation and finish of the door. An additional gasket (1) in the profile head increases the sealing, while the new optimised steel profiles (2) are exclusively made of a double-wall sandwich structure with thermal separation and a thickness of 45 mm (3). The thermal separation between the outer and inner envelope helps to minimise heat loss (4), which is further limited by the additional insulating seal between the sections, designed to further increase performance. This is complemented by a high-quality exterior cladding (5), available in thousands of combinations of colours, surfaces and patterns, for extensive customisation consistent with the building's style.

RC 2 BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM
The security of a garage does not only depend on the robustness of the door, but also on how well it can resist break-in attempts. Novoferm ISO 45 and ISO 70 garage doors are designed to offer a solid and reliable construction, and for those who want a higher level of protection, they can also be configured with dedicated burglary resistance solutions.
Mechanical security systems applied to garage doors prove to be particularly effective because they make burglary more difficult and slower: the attempt is often interrupted when the intruder cannot quickly gain a way through. In this sense, sectional overhead doors are suitable choices for those who want to increase the protection of their garage and, consequently, also the accesses to their home.
Upon request, ISO 45 and ISO 70 are also available in versions with certifiable burglary protection, which can be achieved in combination with a specific configuration and a compliant installation. In this way, it is possible to combine comfort of use, insulation and higher protection against intrusion attempts, while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing result consistent with the residential context.

SIDE DOOR
SIDE DOOR COMBINED WITH THE SECTIONAL OVERHEAD DOOR
Side doors for sectional overhead doors are installed next to the door, on the façade, and are designed to harmonise perfectly with the aesthetics of the sectional garage door. They are particularly useful when quick access to the garage is needed without opening the door or moving the car, for example to store a bicycle, take tools or enter for short passages.
In terms of construction, they are robust and rigid doors, developed to maintain the same quality standards as the garage system. They can be made of high-quality aluminium profiles with a panel or as a steel door, and are equipped with 3-point locking and hinge protection to increase security and reliability. In addition, to ensure aesthetic continuity, the side door incorporates the same style chosen for the sectional door, with the same colours, finishes and, where applicable, the same windows. In short, it is a solution that combines maximum convenience with an aesthetic result that has been taken care of down to the smallest detail.
INTEGRATED DOOR
INTEGRATED SWING DOOR
If your garage does not allow the installation of a side door but you still want convenient access, an integrated pedestrian door is the ideal solution. Available for all sectional overhead doors up to 5 metres wide, it offers a practical passage width of 85 cm (reduced to 60 cm with a coffered finish) and provides excellent thermal insulation thanks to its insulated double wall.
SPRINGS
SPRING TECHNOLOGY
Our sectional overhead doors are available with vertical tension springs or robust torsion spring shafts. Compared to models with 20-mm insulation, the 45-mm and 70-mm insulation versions can be equipped with torsion spring shafts with maintenance-free spring break protection, tested according to DIN EN 12604, for a small extra charge. For larger dimensions, torsion springs are provided as standard, so that even in the event of a breakage, the door remains safely retained and can be lifted again.

MOTORISATION
Novoferm recommends a garage door with a motor, because today a new lock must not only be aesthetically pleasing, but also convenient and easy to use. With an electric drive, opening and closing become immediate: all it takes is the push of a button via radio control or, depending on the configuration, eliminating the inconvenience of daily manoeuvres.
All automation systems are tested in combination with Novoferm doors to ensure maximum functional reliability and long life. Furthermore, thanks to the practical emergency release, access to the garage is always possible even in the event of a power failure.
